I have long been of the opinion that Non-European nations have no right to operate militarily or geo-politically within Europe. Only European nations, if they behave peacefully (that means – among other things – non-aggressively), have the right to sovereignty over the lands under their possession.
There is no valid reason for the presence or influence, in any capacity (including military alliance), for foreign military to be allowed to settle, nest, domicile, build bases, or store weaponry/armaments on any part of that land. To be blunt, there can be no NATO there, or anywhere else.
What is needed is a security system to operate under documented agreement between all parties, including Russia – which is the only nation (if Russia/Belarus is considered as The Union State) with common borders abutting any European nation. The terms of such agreement to be set down and documented by Russia in agreement with, and signed by, Heads of State of all affected sovereign nations, and providing all the security demands previously documented by Russia back in late 2021 – suitably updated for present day conditions.
There are only two ways for this to end responsibly …and no possible third way.
- If such a document, as described, can be arranged and mutual assurances guaranteed, that would be the end of the matter and a good result for all Eurasian peoples.
- Otherwise, the current deadly conflict in Ukraine must continue and all dissenting nations who continue to support Ukraine will be destroyed or beaten into forced submission, using such force as is deemed necessary, from a choice of use of all available weapons. And Russia itself will drive out or destroy all such non-resident forces, and exact such punitive measures and penalties on the lands and peoples of those offending nations as it sees fit to mete out.
Both of those alternatives will necessitate some huge form of clean-up operation. That would entail a massive financial burden the bill for which will be charged to those nations responsible for starting and kindling the furnace which led to the barely countable deaths, destruction and lost opportunities which ensued. And so it must be that the US must pay that bill along with all its allies who contributed.

“Along the lines of the Foreign Ministry, I am instructing to provide every assistance in the development of international agreements on all these tracks, they are extremely important in bolstering economic cooperation, both ours and our partners. This way, the development of the Greater Eurasian Partnership should also receive a new impetus, essentially becoming a socio-economic basis for a new system of indivisible security in Europe,” the Russian leader said.
