We refuse to be a ‘normal country’ if it means US-style bombings & invasions, Moscow tells Pentagon

Why on Earth would Russia want, in fact why would anyone want, to be a nation or part of a nation defined by the US ‘normal’?

Continuous war; continuous interference in other people’s affairs of state, private lives or business; treating everybody, everything, everywhere, with suspicion, enmity, prejudice – necessitating constant surveillance, pressure, force, to comply with narrow expectations, orders, belief systems and cultural practices in a liberty curtailing, suffocating, incarcerating dichotomy of the super rich and super poor, with a vanishing middle ground, in some sort of master-servant relationship that benefits less than 1% of the population?

That’s what US ‘normal’ is.  They can keep it, and perhaps shove it up where the sun don’t shine.

Oh, I forgot to mention greed, corruption, lies, cheating, contempt for all life not owned by them, bullying, theft, and murder of innocents – though most of that is implied in what I already mentioned. 

Did I forget anything?  Probably.  But not a single thing that would serve to make the US definition of ‘normal’ a desirable state to which to aspire.
