While acknowledging with gratitude the work of US First Lady, Melania Trump – who chaired the recent meeting – for her efforts toward protecting the rights of children caught up in conflict, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia ensured that the gathering was in full possession of the pertinent facts. He also gave a lucid explanation of the importance of proper and uninterrupted education in the modern world – something sadly lacking especially in the western nations for many years now. Still, I suppose in some places it is thought bombs and bullets are more important.
