Settling an Argument and Solving a Problem

I recently wrote on the subject of middle power nations not needing to choose sides, geopolitically speaking, but to be free to cooperate with others as they see strategically and economically fit for their own purposes. That is just a working example of what national sovereignty really means. My piece related specifically to Indonesia but I added a note later to the effect that, as it became clear to me, this also includes India’s relations with both BRICS and the US. India’s true ties have been the subject of much discussion in geopolitical circles for some time, but this I believe is now settled and probably will now end all argument on the subject. At the same time the development outlined below also solves a tricky problem for all BRICS nations, further strengthening the efforts of BRICS members and partners as they continue, without abatement, the work for which the structure was originally conceived. This is good news for all who are eager to see the implementation of a multipolar or multi-nodal world.

Securing the Indian Ocean is a noble task, necessitated by the ignoble activities of Western barbarian nations to close it down to only maritime traffic they wish to see passing through the region. This new development between India and Russia will ensure freedom of passage through the region.

The RELOS Pact: Why India and Russia are Defying the West to Secure the Indian Ocean – Think BRICS – May 2, 2026

With the West now subdued in West Asia and its littoral waters, and freedom of movement for trade from there to the Pacific ensured, not forgetting the sovereignty of Iran guaranteed by their essential and successful stand against Western intolerance, the truly free world can finally begin to see the light of liberty, justice, and free trading rights for all nations in days to come. This of course also sees the end of centuries old Western dominance in global affairs.

Is that statement a little over-dramatic? I think not. It represents a welcome (to the majority) return to rational and relational global stability which has been missing from world affairs for far too long. And a hope for a lasting pathway to fairer prosperity for all.
