Why Are We Here?

Do we really want to know? Then wouldn’t it make sense, since we – modern humanity – descendants of the first, so far as known, only civilisation of man, though perhaps more primitive hominids of some kind are known to have walked the lands of Earth for some two million years (forget evolutionary science, it makes no sense at all other than as a minimal feature of life – not meant to produce a road-map of existence), that we begin by taking careful note of the massive amount of written records left behind by the very intelligent human members of that first civilisation, a record the sole purpose of which was to inform later generations – that means us – of what they themselves were told (not discovered by themselves, but were taught by others) as to their own origins.

It makes very good sense to do that, because others since that time have copied those stories, adopting them but also adapting them to fit their own versions of those origins, which for the first time included the concept of ‘God’ or ‘Gods’. The original texts, written on clay tablets, made no mention of a God or Gods, simply ‘Others’ who came from the heavens – the sky – down to Earth. From where they came and for what reason they came to this particular planet is not entirely clear. They do name the place they came from ans we can surmise some things about it from the writings. And we can use the intellect we have been given (by them) to deduce by what they did while here, as to ther reasons why they came and why they made us ‘in their image’.

Isn’t that an absolutely fantastic and interesting story? Don’t you want to know about it?

I could say some basic things about religion and science here but I don’t want to put you off at all from discovering the richness and connectivity and logic (things which religion and science are lacking in) about what this story relates. If you read about it, and find and absorb the obvious connections it offers, you will see and form your own conclusions I’m sure.

I have from time to time tried to relate some of the ancient story here in these pages, but I came across this video which clearly expresses the story at a basic level, on which to build – if you so choose – your own understanding of these things. For myself, I find this all very refreshing and satisfying, providing a type of firm basis for accepting our history.

Of course this is not about life and death. It doesn’t explain where we go after this physical body has run its course, if anywhere. I wouldn’t expect it to do that. That is still the great unknown. Which leads me to conclude that it doesn’t really matter. It is something of no consequence. It is the now that matters, and if there is more to follow, then I expect it will be in a very different form, unrecognisable to us now, either somewhere or nowhere. We need not concern ourselves about that, but it is very reassuring to know and to acknowledge our true origins. And such things we have not been told about with any truth by our peers or forebears near or far, except by those who wrote down the teachings of those who came down and gave them all they needed to know about origins and civilisation.

I urge you to watch this video and make of it what you will. I hope it stirs something in you to make your own investigations towards a greater knowledge, because it is only a brief introduction to the knowledge that is out there. I make no representations about the organisation which produced the video, having only just come across it. It doesn’t matter. It is just a vehicle, and I see no attempt to deceive in it. Don’t be put off by the wrappings – video makers must apparently do their own thing. I think they call it ‘artistic licence’.
