Nature Always Bats Last

This post is inspired by two things, well, three things actually.

Firstly, I came across this disturbing story of our thoughtless search for knowledge: Mustached Bird Photographed for First Time, Then Killed

There is research and then there is research. We most definitely do not need to know that much about nature.

Then I came across this one, which cheered me up a bit: 20 Photos Of Nature Winning The Battle Against Civilization

This ferris wheel is more beautiful than ever now that it has foliage growing in just the right design.

And then I remembered the greatest of all epitaphs:
