Iran is Playing Trump, His Disciples, The Markets, and Assorted Onlookers for Demented Chumps or Bedoozulated Chimps. Both Apply Either Way

I think I just invented ‘bedoozulated’. It gets no responses when searched, so you can make of it whatever you wish. How do you define a confused chimp anyway?

But whatever Iran is doing, there is good logic behind it. They have never altered their stance regarding the Strait, and this is just another way to emphasize that point. They were never going to ‘open the strait’ anyway – other than temporarily to clear the backlog – which is quite a dangerous situation. Isn’t that plain enough to see? Iran is not reacting to Trump’s daily verbal diarrhoea of many colours – they actually have a plan (and it hasn’t, and will not, change). There is not another power in the world which can achieve that. Somebody, actually a lot of somebodies (including the 40 odd nations who are clambering to gather to ensure the strait stays open), had better get used to that reality. Unless, of course, they all want to die or simply to fade away and be forever forgotten – like so many others before them have, throughout history, who chose to go against the flow of time.

You realise, I hope, that we are seeing history made before our eyes. It’s kind of magic to watch – and dream of what comes next. New heroes are being forged; old dogmas swept away.

I have done talking. I was going to let Simplicius provide the latest news but I am fed up with people who hide their work behind firewalls requiring subscriptions. I won’t be doing that again.
