“Follow The Science”. Which science? The Science which follows “The Scientific Method”. The Method which ‘Weeds Out All Theories Which Do Not Work’.

“Follow The Science” has, by popular acceptance, become a 21st Century mantra. The problem with mantras is, they do not require any real level of understanding – just frequent repetition. And what has become known (enabled by general ignorance) as ‘The Science’, is not always ‘The Real Science’, but some deliberately incorrect and purposefully explained deviation from ‘The Real Science’. Such is the state of our world today. We have largely been fooled, because we largely can quite easily be fooled. You can be assured that this is a carefully engineered and purposefully developed state of being, covering the whole of the non-privileged majority of humanity.

It is up to every one of us – at least everyone who cares about how they live and are not prepared to accept some second or third rate substitute (with a few jollies thrown our way to keep us quietly pinned down) for the state of reality and understanding that we, as self-realised human beings, truly deserve to enjoy – to self-educate (thus achieving self-realisation) to free ourselves from this imposed general cloud of ignorance. That is something which no government inspired education curriculum will ever prove sufficient to achieve. Self-education is a self-imposed life-long journey which can never be complete perhaps until our final cognitive breath. But we must all advance down that path, knowing why, and how, we can never actually reach full understanding, but firm in the knowledge that we will have lived our lives as authentically as such a being as ourselves, with our individual capacities, weaknesses and strengths, could possibly achieve in the time we have available to us – however long or short that may be. I think that may be the whole purpose of life – if such a purpose exists – even if ever only partially realised.

And I, for one, do not wish to be anybody else’s fool or suborned ignoramus. I hope you feel the same way too.

How do we know what is ‘The Real Science’? Is it possible to know?

Well, yes, it is, and there is quite a simple rule by which we can judge the matter. Anything else is irrelevant. This quote taken from the linked article, below, provides quite a clear explanation.

Agreement with observations is the measure of scientific truth. Scientific progress proceeds by the interplay of theory and observation. Theory explains observations and makes predictions of what will be observed in the future. Observations anchor understanding and weed out the theories that do not work. This has been the scientific method for more than four hundred years.

Any scientific theory must agree with, and explain, observed reality. If it does not so agree and explain, it is not science. Science cannot be the subject of surmise or propaganda. And equally not of selective sampling. Additionally, the completeness and accuracy of the ‘observed reality’ must also be understood in terms of our own abilities to capture that reality and the subject’s inherent improbabilities to fully and accurately yield up its own ‘real’ characteristics for our use, at whatever scales of observation may be necessary.

Even with all the limitations and safety nets I have listed here (and I hope that I point out frequently enough that I am not a scientist, and you may make what you will, of what I say), it is very obvious that very much of what today passes as scientific discovery is not actually real science. I would go as far as to say that nothing much reported in the general press or published as directives by global authorities (like the UN) is actually real science. And such stories must be carefully scrutinised (since it is bound to affect your own life in some way) to determine what games these surmisers, propagandists or authorities are playing. The paper referenced in the article provides enough examples of such profound trickery as may invoke angry reactions in those who see them for what they are. And that recognition should provide you personally with sufficient impetus as to direct your own determinations on these matters in order to limit potential damage within your own circles of life. I am not suggesting this should send you out on the street in protest but to configure whatever changes you see necessary to minimise those possible effects on you and those you care for. That is something everyone can do, if they are properly open and aware to the driving forces behind where the modern world is heading.
