How Can Climate Science Get It So Wrong?

I can tell you how. It is a form of madness which has taken over the world. It is similar to the madness, though on a larger scale, as took place over three years ago for the plight of Ukraine (now largely dissipated) and more recently over the murder of the currently much vaunted lunatic Charlie Kirk who could not publicly present any kind of rational argument in his wild imaginings outside of lurid so-called western Christian evangelical garbage – to which America in particular, seems highly attuned. There is no sense of there being any kind of sense in any of those mind disturbances.

It began with activists, and governments and business wouldn’t have a bar of it. There was no basis to it back then and there is still no basis to it now. But in the meantime the money minded saw an opportunity in it to make lots of dough and reshape the lives of all mankind to be worshippers at the altar of climate alarmism. Which is where we are today. The only thing which hasn’t changed is the original climate skeptism, and there is a reason for that. The skeptics had it right all along. They never used the same reasons as big business to oppose climate extremism. They never used the scare tactics of official organisations or governments. They simply stated the historical facts. Scientific facts. There is no science at all behind what is misnamed today as modern climate science. It is all computer jingoism based on manipulated modelling techniques which are based on various spurious ideas loosely connected with modern life experiences and vague ideas around weather conditions. Choose an answer. There is a way to get computer models to produce the necessary conditions for the answer you require. And the world will fall into line to accept it, never questioning its origin.

Is that a sane way to go about things? No, no, of course it’s not. But try to change that. It’s impossible. Until, at least, the real climate produced indelible proof itself that these modelled conjectures are terribly wrong. And that may be too late for foolish man to save himself from disaster caused by his own lunacy.

Fortunately, such man-made disasters are likely to be short-lived, due to expense and man’s gullibility to believe he can materially effect Earth systems laid down since the dawn of time.

Australia has just produced a document promoting climate disaster. I am not going to share it since it conveys complete rubbish, based on the completely rubbishy stream of analysis I have been talking about. But if you want to see it for yourself, look it up. It’s called the National Climate Risk Assessment. A complete waste of time.

Instead, I offer this image which is based on real, actual climate data…

The image shows something remarkable going on right now. It is not an answer to why the climate is changing e-v-e-rrr – s-ooo – g-r-a-d-u-a-ll-yyy, or what changes are being made in the current age (hint: it is not global warming). But it does show that in recent years (I chose to show 2021-2025) that the rapid growth of ice loss in the Arctic Ocean over the past two decades (the paler blue and black lines) has suffered a complete stoppage of the expansion in the current decade and that Northern Sea Ice and has, this year, begun to grow again (in mid-September no less) at least a week earlier than normal.

You may or may not be aware that the annual toings and froings of Northern Sea Ice travelling between the extremes of Summer ice melt and Winter ice reformation, are a good indicator of the real nature of Earth’s natural climate movements. Although we have only some four decades of fairly accurate measurements (with satellite assistance) to work on. And while even those records are not entirely to be trusted, they represent the best data we have on which to base anything.

Whether this news is indicative of anything remarkable is hard to tell. Only single year data or even data averaged over a decade can only be viewed as ‘indicative’ of real possibility for change. We will need to watch what happens for several more years or decade periods, at least, to be sure. But it is worth noting. And it is relatively concrete real life fact, not modelled conjecture.

Patience is the word now, not ill-directed or panicked action. Doing anything to combat perceptions of climate change can at best be fruitless and may conceivably cause unimaginable harm to the one home we have and should cherish.

If you want to see more real life facts, based on past scientific discovery and history, check some of my earlier writings on the subject over the past two years.
