There is no reason – none at all – for Russian President Putin to make Concessions of any kind when he meets with Trump on Friday. This will be a final attempt to get inside Trump’s Head (probably an impossible task) to deliver, first hand, person to person, Russia’s message about what is going to happen with Ukraine. Peace, if it comes at all (and I don’t expect it will, any time soon), is a mere sideline to that encounter. The conditions for peace, on any level, are not yet available. Only a full capitulation of the West to Russia’s demands, will bring that into play.

…and that is all this meeting is about. Trump, grandstanding. It won’t work.

The show goes on. Until the conditions are right. Shouldn’t take too much longer.
