Who could argue with that? Probably meaning that I would also not be welcomed there. Not that I have ever entertained a desire to do so. Not even since their Blue Jeans first arrived in England during my pre-teen years. And certainly not now that the residents have turned America into a blighted wasteland and blamed it on climate change.

Yes, I realise this was almost exactly two months ago, but ABC saw fit to bring it up again today alongside the latest White House spat between El Donaldo and President Ramaphosa of South Africa over what amounts to a desperate defence of a despicable Israel once again. God’s people? I shit on God’s people. And I also shit on Americans – especially Trump. Not because he is an enemy of mankind, which he is, but because he pretends not to be an idiot of the highest order. Which he also is.

I was going to include the ABC version of that spat, but I reckon folk will have already seen enough of such a pantomime – well managed, I have to say, by Ramaphosa, who kept his cool as far as I can see, throughout the ambush.

The fight to rid the world of American influence, goes on. Even if a little half-heartedly in some places.
