Let’s see if we can sort it out. What’s on offer?
This is the event which kicked off a string of messages on Ukraine yesterday, May 11. Russian President Putin made an offer to Ukraine to meet directly to continue the talks interrupted during 2022 in Istanbul, to take place on May 15.

Ukraine’s illegitimate leader Zelenskyi replied that meeting could only take place after a 30 day ceasefire is in place – knowing Russia would never agree to that. It’s a matter of trust, or that Ukraine cannot be trusted to comply with any conditions that would need to be agreed for such a ceasefire to exist.

US President Trump’s childish mind contradicts what he said the previous day – he really can’t help himself – by talking up ‘Big Week’ coming after Putin’s offer. In his world, everything has to be ‘Big’.

The usually correct Karin Kneissl, ex-FM Austria – now living, working in Russia, gets it sadly wrong on the point of Putin making a concession. There is no concession here on Russia’s part. The same offer has been repeatedly made at appropriate junctures since 2022, when Zelenskyi refused to continue the earlier talks. Of course, as time has gone by, the conditions for peace acceptable to Russia have increasingly changed, not in Ukraine’s favour. President Putin, by this offer, has yielded nothing. And I believe he only made the offer of continued talks, knowing it would never be accepted by Ukraine.

Trump claimed earlier he had made no mistakes in his first 100 days. But he does have a very short memory. Even before the election last November, his first mistake was made, whether by him or for him. The choice of Vance as VP. There are at least three Deep State urchin snakes close to Trump – Vance, Rubio and Kellogg. All three are working to undermine him. Yesterday it was the turn of Kellogg to come up with this piece of shite…

As I said before, that will never be acceptable to Russia, and it directly counteracts Trump’s demand of Ukraine that it accept Russia’s offer ‘immediately’. Russia is undeterred. And in fact, the head of Russia’s governing Party – United Russia, outlined Russia’s long-term (and they are all unitedly in this for the long-term) goals, peace or no peace. Russia is not in any hurry to finish the job it started – out of necessity – over three years ago. Which job has actually expanded due to actions of the Western nations. It will take as long as it takes. And no Trumpish threats can deter that. It is not Russia’s fault if the West cannot (or refuses) to see that

What exactly does that mean? Has he given up (threatened by Trump)? Is he plotting something (like bumping off Putin)? Or will he let it run for as long as he can, before withdrawing at the last second (that’s about a three day deadline) and running away to find a non-Russian piano keyboard on which to play out his Swan-song? No. No such luck. He is still waiting for his demanded ceasefire tomorrow.
Oh well, c’est la guerre.
How is all this being viewed? And what’s going to happen? It is really all quite predictable.
Russia will (perhaps ‘may’) wait patiently for May 15 to come around. They will wait in vain, but feel justified in doing so. And then they will unleash (if not before) the full fury of their military might – including the ‘Dust Makers’ Oreshnik on Ukraine and any interfering NATO or ‘Coalition of the Damned’ hotspots. Sweeping away all contention. After which they will carry out their intended denazification of Ukraine (and perhaps other adjoining nations harbouring nests of the iniquitous bastards), and restoring order to that nation as deemed appropriate and necessary. The US will lose its recently signed up minerals and drag its sorry ass back home, NATO will lose its chief sponsor, rendering it even more harmless than it already is, and the EU will disintegrate, reforming the old sovereign nations which began that luridly ill-conceived congruence.
And the rest of the world – the Global Majority – will, for the first time in centuries, perhaps even millennia, or, goodness knows, perhaps even for ever, be able to go about its business of forming a just and fair global society of individually operating sovereign nations, working together under literally quite harmonious conditions. And Russia will have achieved that, mostly working alone, with the backing of many of its close friends all around the world. I hope they can feel the warmth and gratitude coming their way.
