The West is Economically, Morally, and Militarily Bankrupt

I want to make it 100% clear that I stand, fundamentally, behind Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, the BRICS+ initiative, and more generally the entire Global South in every respect, as providing the hope and the means for the only morally just alternative future for the human race.

The West is economically, morally, and militarily bankrupt, and now stands in the way of human progress towards a peaceful world and any kind of satisfactory future for either ourselves or those who follow us in succeeding generations. We stand at the crossroads of time, and everything which happens now will have significant impact on that future. Much could go wrong, depending on the choices we make now, but there are indicators which point to the right kind of change for an awakening world to have hope for better things to come and to save us from the oppression of a Western dominated world and the economic indebtedness to a single US dollar reserve currency which benefits only a small part of a single nation. Enabling it to pursue a policy of delusional rampant militarism, as those – the majority – not so fortuitously benefited must now be realising.

One significant thing which has just occurred this year already – and as I suggested yesterday, 2025 is set to be a year of such significant events – is that the fourth most populous nation in the world now has attained full membership to the BRICS organisation. BRICS is now a ten member group with eight Partner Nations and a string of other interested partners in waiting and which now exceeds the G7 in global economic importance.

I also want to share a short video report on this subject from Lena Petrova, whom I admire as another sane voice in today’s growing arena of global commentary (and particularly because she also uses in this video the words ‘Moral Bankruptcy’ on the part of Western elites in relation to them seeking to impose ‘rules based order’ on the world with ‘rules’ which do not apply to themselves)…

I want to go on to explain about Trump’s latest full-imperialist and militaristic adventurism in regard to Canada, Greenland and Panama but, since none of that may go further than thought bubbles in his deluded mind, I will leave for another time, if it develops further.

Personally, I am confident that this year will work to the advantage of the emerging multicultural world and will see further decline for the West. There is not a single Western nation, my own country Australia included (we are in a particularly bad place right now), which will not noticeably deteriorate, perhaps disastrously so, in 2025. But whose fault is that? Opportunities to join the flow have been ignored. Poor decisions have been made. Old and unhealthy alliances have been allowed to persist in order to retain a now festering historic narrative. And even defiant but counter-productive gestures have been chosen. The expected resultant damage is entirely self-imposed.
