Here’s a Thought…

‘US can stop conflict in Ukraine quickly because it is involved in it — Kremlin spokesman’ – TASS – November 7

That’s the dashing Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Spokesman, quick off the mark to address one of Trump’s election promises. [I have given up on the ‘i’s and ‘y’s of ending Dmitry – being an old-timer I prefer the ‘i’, or even two ‘ii’s (replacing the final two letters of ‘ (Дмитрий)’) but since it is a translation from the Cyrillic name (potentially leading to a great many different versions), I concede it doesn’t really matter.] And he is right. All Trump has to do, to kick the process off, is to withdraw all US and NATO clandestine troops (official or unofficial) and all Western armaments from Ukraine territory, providing Russia the earliest opportunity to sort out an appropriate ending between themselves and Ukraine (assuming they can find someone in that country and all of its allied nations – including the US – with appropriate authority to undertake those conversations and accept the outcome}. All parties must accept those conditions unreservedly and provide guarantees as to their abiding cooperation (No-More-Minsks), as Russia may impose. Such an ending will of course be on Russia’s terms only. Not Ukraine’s and definitely not those of any other nation involved in the process.

That is the only way this conflict is going to end peacefully. Is such an ending likely to be agreed? I somehow think not. Where will that lead? I don’t want to think about that just now. But the outcome will be inevitable – and it will not be a US victory.

How will talks proceed, if they ever even get organised before a final Russian victory over Ukraine makes them irrelevant? The flair-driven Trump and his ‘A-Team’, will want to declare, or will be forced to declare by the inner demons of his nation’s dark, underpinning forces, some bombastic outcome designed to ensure the, for now temporarily languishing authors of Diktat, stupefied by their obvious loss of prestige and authority in recent times, return to some form of US predominance again. You know, the MAGA syndrome.

Sadly for them, that just ain’t gonna work no more. Their ‘driving seat’, the US Dollar, is in process of being removed from the vehicle. And, opportunities for their two major sources of income in the past, Ill-gotten gains from the raping and pillaging of many smaller nations, and the benefits of having a reserve currency – allowing them to control global trade, are drying up. On top of that, their total indebtedness to the world – now at an unpayable level – means that their situation is irrecoverable. Their only way forward, is down. Their real economy, if there is actually such a thing, is already running on fumes. Their population, those who can see a little further than most, are already leaving – if such a possibility exists for them – for other countries, not least of which is Russia.

Have I painted a sufficiently bright enough future for you, of ‘America’? Just look at Europe for a foretaste. ‘Hicksville, USA’, is just around the bend.
