Do you think of BRICS, if you think of them at all, as being merely some lightweight social group who gather around such important matters as navel-gazing activities? Well, the reality is a bit different to that. And whether this is as a result of Russia being Chairman nation for 2024 or not, there has certainly been a vast but largely unseen program across a broad range of functional areas this year. Largely unseen because I guess the final quarter of the year is naturally when all this activity comes together for discussion and dissemination as to how to move the group forward in both planning and direction.
Take a look at the BRICS schedule (below) for the fourth quarter. I think most people will be surprised, and many may even be delighted. Even more so, hopefully, when the results of those efforts are announced, I think next month – following the BRICS Summit in Kazan. Many nations, in addition to those who have already expressed interest in joining the group, will be watching on and potentially making their own decisions about desiring participation as a result.

BRICS – It is something like an iceberg. There is far more going on beneath the surface than is visible. I think you will agree.
The ‘vocal and active opponents’ of these moves, which phrase could form a new euphemism for the nations of the west – as their own faction rapidly now sinks into the morass of their own self-inflicted future of failure and denudation, even potential destruction – has no equivalent system of thought or plan. Predisposed to majoring only in matters of war and terrorism, they spare no time or consideration to matters of consequence to human wellbeing and cultural advancement. As even their own people will testify – and are now doing so, openly, in many a city street of the west.
The choice now open to the world, is… well, there really is no choice, is there? Join the new world movement toward fairness, peace, and security with the global majority. Or remain trapped, waiting for something much less desirable.
