While the West Morbidly Festers in the Dark Crevasses of Its Own Climate Disaster Concept

‘In Vladivostok, the Russian Far East rises’ – A timely and enlightening piece by Pepe Escobar, on The Cradle – published September 14, 2023

Oh what a different picture is presented. One-eighth of the world dwells in sombre inactivity pretending to be concerned about some impending doom of their own conception, under the stern control of climate change overlords and awaiting some form of magical ‘Reset’ – which stands zero chance of resetting anything (other than the grounding of their national economies in the clinging mud of penury – while the overlords laugh all the way to the bank, their very own bank of course). And even if they were actually working at least a little bit towards such a future event – which they are not – it would be a complete waste of time. Time they don’t have, as their way of life slumps. Time they could be using to build, for themselves, and even alongside the rest of the world in a joint endeavour, a very different future. Instead, every year, falsely interpreted facts are produced to ensure complete compliance to climate injunctions among a population by now well used to that sort of ritual and the demands it places on their personal economic situation, partly covering over the heavy demands of their forever warring participation in now vain attempts to extend their control mechanisms to the other seven-eighths of the world. They simply cannot see it that way. Their own greed blinds them. And the stories they concoct to justify their inability to see anything else keeps them from taking any other path. They are the architects of their own destiny.

Thank goodness there are others who see things differently, and walk to another narrative.

While all that useless turmoil is going on, the other seven-eighths of humanity is either busy with a joint program of cooperative endeavour and prosperity – where little is detected of the western gloom – or they are gathering themselves to join such a brave and manifestly superior and apparently quite equitable plan.

Let the west fester in its outdated gloom. They will soon be crying out for assistance as their dollar-debt-based economies grind to final rigidity where nothing moves. Instead of a world free of ice (as is their expectation), in order to go anywhere they will need to beg for some of Russia’s nuclear powered ice-breaker vessels so creatively and with foresight built for expansion of trade over routes that will always require them while the west wallowed in cutting things to feed their never effective forever wars as their only one-string plan for their own salvation – while crushing everything and everyone else in their never-to-be-fulfilled greed for themselves – and only themselves – to succeed.

Pepe’s essay makes marvellous reading for anyone who wants mankind to succeed and be happy and at peace with reasonable expectations of agreeable equality and sufficient abundance for all in a friendly atmosphere of personal freedom and national sovereignty.
