I could keep on commenting about the war in Syria, though something of an impasse has been reached pending the next move by Erdogan’s Turkey – so there is not much point in doing that for the time being – unless something dramatic happens.

What is important though is to reassess what is actually happening and why.

I believe that this assessment by Southfront goes a long way towards addressing that – thankfully, relieving myself of the need to do so. It is worth reading and there is nothing in it that I would want to take issue with.
