“The US Didn’t Foresee a Russia-Turkey Surprise in Syria”

This New Eastern Outlook article provides an interpretation of events in Syria and the dramatic changes that have occurred there and sums up well what I have also said in recent days.
How correct we are has yet to be realised of course, and Turkey is always a wildcard, but things are shaping up much as expressed. That’s good news for Syria and the Middle East generally.
It also illustrates the degree of blue funk in which the US is currently blundering around as it continues to decline in, well, pretty much all areas of activity in which it used to exercise some authority and direction. I guess that’s good news for the world, as long as blue funk does not morph to blind panic. That’s when the wrong buttons start to get pressed.
