On How and Why and in What Spirit of Humanity We Write the Things That We Do.

Andrei Martyanov is a reasonably good writer. He has a number of published informative books to his name, most of which I have purchased and avidly read. So I can acknowledge the value of his military commentary. I have no doubt he knows the mathematics of modern warfare better than any military officer in the US military forces ever did (that is Russian military education for you). But he is an individual I greatly despise as a person who is unnecessarily hyper-critical, crude and foul tongued on just about anyone else in the world. His is, for reasons not known to me, one of the most bitterly twisted personality I have ever come across. I don’t need to know or even to speculate about the reasons for that. It just shows. And it marks us in some way. And is visible to any discerning observer.

And yet I still read his blog posts on ‘Reminiscence of The Future…’. From time to time there is something he writes which I can share here. Here are two examples of decently written posts which may be of interest as current crises evolve. You know they are still evolving I hope. Nothing has been solved yet. Despite what various media or even national leaders may say. In fact the most dangerous period resulting from these events is likely yet to arrive. Keep your seat-belts on for the wild ride to come over the next year or so.

You see, there is no reason to be hateful, or spiteful about those we feel to be of lesser value or worth than ourselves in order to provide some inflated boost for our own egos. Even while taking into account that some of those personalities of which we write, are or appear to be – for whatever reason – just plain or disgustingly evil in nature.

While acknowledging that I also from time to time use less than perfect language, I hope it does not appear that there is any bitterness implied against other people of whom I may speak. If I ever find there is a case to answer on that point, I will cease to write here.
