A New, Must See Video, On Current World Affairs

Think BRICS is a fairly new and independent voice of the Global South, its presentations not yet a fully polished gem, but trying hard to portray the world in realist terms. And their foremost face, in Anastasia G, has scooped an interview with a relaxed and open (such as I have not seen him in recent days) Pepe Escobar, discussing the current geopolitical situation in West and Central Asia. This is not so much about the prominent theme of military issues but the more important background material of getting on with life in spite of that.

And for the first time, Pepe has helped me, through this video, to understand the reasons and influence of Trump’s TRIPP (a childish attempt to throw a ‘spanner in the works’), which has remained a grey area for me for some time. And especially the role of India in all these recent events. For these and other reasons, I think, for those who take the time to watch it, they will find this interview both fascinating and informative.
