Australian Government SourPuss Action Pulls US Entrant out of the Russian Revived ‘InterVision’ Song Contest

Unless the Aussie Govt comes clean on the real reason for this distasteful action, they will for ever be known for the SourPusses they truly are. Read the story from ABC News…

Note that even the title of the piece gives no clue as to the reasons for the ‘political pressure’, nor that the singer was representing the US, not Australia. How sad for the Australian born artist, a dual citizen with the US, and for the Aussie people to be represented internationally by such appalling wankers as the current government (and their overlords).

Not that I suspect this was a unilateral Australian decision but the subjugation of a weak-willed bunch of toe-rags subservient to US government rabid dogs who did not wish to be seen to be involved in it. Will we ever know the truth?

Today I am ashamed to be Australian.

Next year the originally Soviet Russian contest’s event will apparently be hosted by Saudi Arabia. Will a similar weak-minded stunt be pulled, by the same Aussie slime-bags, for that host venue?
