Making Burkina Faso Great

Africa is rising. That, in itself, is something truly remarkable, and welcome, and heart-warming.

And there is nothing more alive and attention-grabbing about the awakening of Africa than what is happening in Burkina Faso, the central state of the renewed Sahel region of sub-Saharan West Africa.

Why there? Well, who is the most celebrated name at the moment connected with that Continent and that country? Of course, it is President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The young, energetic. driven, intelligent, ethical person who has risen, with a vision to bring his country and continent to a global position where it can no longer be ignored and plundered by the less noble interests of the minority Western clique of colonialist nations that have for so long held African nations in a state of abused poverty.

The young President has caught the attention of leaders of much more noble and advanced nations than the west, in Russia and China, both of whom are assisting Burkina Faso to achieve stable growth and to gain necessary physical security as it does so.

This locally (Africa) produced video outlines 25 projects under way to bring Burkina Faso to a level of greatness it may have never enjoyed previously. And the is good, and encouraging, for the whole region. The world, and the African peoples, need a strong Africa, recognised as such on the world stage. Burkina’s example will ensure that happens and, I think, very quickly.

Where is the money coming from? Well, Burkina had none until recently, it has borrowed, heavily I assume from friendly, non-Western sources, and is now accumulating its own gold reserves. Which are being used (wisely, in my opinion) by the President, to achieve progress and also to pay off any loans used to build that progress.

Good luck to them. I am sure they will achieve the greatness they seek, under the wise guidance of their leader, and without being manipulated by thieving, gold-digging interests of the West.
