I am not seeking to sow discord among the BRICS members. Brazil has already gone some way to doing that. But the facts remain, Brazil does not exactly see eye-to-eye with the concept of BRICS or the views of many of its member states. Which views, while not directed against any particular nation, are obviously tied to the forming of a different world order (not necessarily just an alternative one) to that which is current, and to not being themselves subject to the dictates and belligerent thrusts of the system of governance which drives the current one.

Can Brazil remain committed to, or re-commit to, the BRICS concept? Or is Brazil becoming a dead-weight to the project?
