Appears I was right – The until recently thought impossible is now happening before our stunned eyes

Two days ago, in a sort of general discussion phase of my post: Russia’s New Weapon in the Information Wars, I happened to mention something gleaned from my general reading of the day’s news (Tsk-Tsk, did you miss it?), raised as a question there…

Is the US, or Trump at least, going to support Russia against Zelensky? It will have to be from different directions of course. They can’t be seen as acting together, can they? Russia will continue to destroy Zee’s armies while the Trumpster (haven’t used that in a while) begins a new Maidan, or something of the sort, to force his hand.

Well, ‘Shiver-me-timbers’ as pirates of old used to say, that implausible suggestion has emerged over the last day as a hot topic. It is actually happening. Of course I should have realised what I already knew and have spoken about many times in these pages, that this is the only way for the Ukraine thing to end cleanly and without massive human and material loss all across that region – and possibly the world. Trump is actually capitulating (on behalf of Zelenskiy – since he can’t and won’t) to Russia’s every demand. “Let them take it all,” I read somewhere. That was always going to happen anyway, but to see it taking place without even a semblance of a fight is, well, really… a miracle of sorts. And one that has come completely out of the blue. And, being Trump, and with the power he now possesses (blessed of God, and the Congress [are they one and the same? 🙂 ] ), it is sure to happen, and without any undue delay.

Here’s a hint from the back of my mind – Trump needs it to happen quickly (his magical aura will begin to fade eventually), and he needs it to happen – not in six months, which pundits are saying is all the time Ukraine has left – but within 100 days (3 months or so) so he can claim to have succeeded with his ‘second choice’ deadline for an end to the chaos. I know that will be on his mind. The only alternative, since Russia will accept nothing less (I wonder what his ‘three wise men’ were told at Riyadh?) and will opt to continue the conflict (they have everything they need to do so, comfortably) until they have finally reached their own targets – at great expense to themselves and the world – including the US. I am still finding it hard to accept that such a turnaround (‘miracle’ is not an exaggeration) has resulted so easily as it appears to have done. It is my belief that nothing, no earthly power of any sort, can prevent it from taking place. The world needs it to do so. You and I need it to do so, no matter what your initial thoughts may be.
