…And so the war in Ukraine (which in all probability will eventually extend to Europe and beyond) goes on, and will continue to go on, and on, and on. Until all of the West has been bankrupted – and quite likely, destroyed.
The West has no conceptual grasp of what is required to end the Ukraine affair. None at all. Is that because their representatives are simply dumb and stupid? Which implies that they just do not possess the mental acuity to even understand the simplest of points to which they must in the end agree. There is no questioning that.
At its simplest, it is just a matter of ‘practical needs’, the most basic position from which to assert anything. Russia knows exactly what those ‘practical needs’ are and has been expressing them for more than three years now. How dumb does the West show itself to be, when it is obvious that they have not seen, understood, or even considered those clearly expressed needs at any time over those three years?

That becomes perfectly obvious through the West’s lunatic utterances on the subject of ‘ending the Ukraine war’. And, focusing on what Keith Kellogg (Trump’s appointed Special Envoy for Ukraine) has said so far, their collective ideas are so far off the mark of anything to which Russia would give even a moment’s consideration. The West is completely clueless on the issue. Either that or they (somewhat illogically) believe themselves to be in the driving seat of some sort of Peace Train. Complete fools, is what they appear to be. Let’s call a spade, a spade. The Western leaders are nothing more than children (pre-schoolers) attempting to play grown-up’s games in a grown-up’s garden, while exercising their own rules, undeveloped understanding and communicative abilities. It won’t work. It cannot work.
As things stand, any such attempt to settle the Ukraine issue is going exactly nowhere. Is there any possibility of the West seeing things differently? Kellogg only needs one word to settle the matter. And that is ‘Yes!’. He needs to agree completely, and without question, to all Russia’s demands. Because, no matter how long it takes, and that time is not very elastically stretchy, that is exactly how this is going to end. The war will continue until the West bends the knee to Russia, in all aspects.
And if that doesn’t happen in the short time the West has remaining, to maintain any capability to attempt to end it differently, and they make any such attempt to end Russia itself, then Russia will ensure that it ends their way. Once and for all. And we can have a global reset of a potentially different nature.
Of course, the West could ensure it ends well for everyone, by simply agreeing with Russia. Perhaps even by saying they have seen the error of their ways, are extremely sorry for what trouble they have caused in the past, and they wish to join the global movement toward a lasting security and mutually beneficial partnership with the new movement towards peace and harmony where sovereign states, large or small, are seen as equals. And where military blocs are seen as an unnecessary impediment to progress.
Of course also, pigs might fly. But you never know. And some things are inconceivable, until they happen.
