This is going back a little while, to April of this year in fact, when three Chinese reporters interviewed now former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte (full transcript). It regained exposure again a day or two ago when the current Philippine Vice President – who is Duterte’s daughter – threatened that she has arranged for the current President Marcos to be assassinated if she herself is killed. There have apparently been such threats made. Of course that Philippine discontent is all due to gross US interference. The US is such an unseemly bunch of shitbags and stirers. They will never change – at least not while they have existence. And maybe that curtailment of existence is something which needs to happen, for the good of all.
EXCLUSIVE: ‘US will not die for us,’ Duterte warns – Global Times
The Philippines was on a good trajectory under Duterte, building friendly terms with China. Now, in the last year or so, the nation is the main stray dog of South East Asia, butting heads with China in the South China Sea. And that is all down to US influence again. However, the Philippines was an observer at the recent BRICS Summit in Kazan and is said to be considering whether to move that way. How that would work, at enmity with China is hard to say.
Ukraine is another US basket case nation. It never was much else since the Soviet collapse but now it is beyond repair, the best bits going to Russia. The rest eventually to become a wasteland likely patrolled by Russian robot guards. A fitting end to nazism, with NATO, if it still exists beyond 2025 (I don’t think that will be permitted) held at bay beyond the western wall of no-man’s land. With Transdniestria, perhaps even Gagauzia and potentially much more, aligned with Russia and the greater Eurasian bloc, and the whole of the South-West and North-East of what used to be Ukraine, folded up into part of Novorossiya, covering up to at least the whole of the left bank of the Dnieper River in the old Ukraine.
And what is to stop that from happening? I would say… Nothing.
I mentioned almost two weeks ago that people should not take too much for granted in the Trump election victory – making this quote…
“There is nothing new here. Nothing at all. New names and faces, same old garbage. As will become evident over the next few weeks, or tomorrow (whatever day tomorrow turns out to be).“
…well, two weeks later and almost two more months before Trump and his team come into power, what is turning into something of a shemozzle, will eventually get its wheels on the tracks – the single line track, with no turnoffs (turnouts?) – which will lead them to a complete economic and/or societal collapse. Every last one of his picks for senior positions are hardened neocons and ‘America Firsters’, with not a clue how to get themselves out of the mess that the US economy has degenerated into. And they are still stupidly making plans – and appointing advisors – to continue doing more or less what their predecessors have always done. A recipe for continuing disaster.
Not only that of course but a recipe for continued subjection of other people to their dominance. ‘America First?’ Pah!! America (North America, that is) flat on its face, possibly in pieces, and maybe even “nowhere to be found” is a more likely result.
One more thought – ‘The US will die for no-one, Mr Zelensky’. You and your country have been used just as yet another in a long line of proxy armies to achieve purely US aims. They don’t like you. They don’t care about you. And when you are all used up in the next few weeks/months, they will drop you like a bag of shit. Maybe even destroying you themselves for your failure. It’s what they do.
And, Mr Duterte, the same thing will happen to the Philippines under Marcos. unless the US is alienated and dismissed from the islands. China is the key, and US international decline and internal strife and collapse of its own economy will see an end to their current dominant influence over your land. You were right to foster friendly terms with China and it was right for your country to seek a BRICS partnership. That is the future for the world, freed from western dominance.
