Some months ago – it seems like that anyway – when RFK Jr was considering a run for the presidency against Trump, I wrote something like ‘Neither of these men is the answer to US leadership problems’. And I meant it. I still do. Even though they appear to be now on the same side, my statement still holds. I didn’t see Kamala as being even in the picture back then (I think Joe was still running), but neither of them would have figured as in any way ideal anyway. So, what has been gained? Absolutely nothing. The US is still consigned to the dump.
The A-Team, I guess we could call it that. There are two ‘A’s in MAGA, MAHA , and MA?A (whatever the third one was). This is a case where two negatives (three if you count Musk) do not make a positive.
So, what do we have? Well, read the article below, carefully, and see if you can work it out…

It is not just Trump, although he is the king-pin, but the whole gang, including the sweet chick from Hawaii and their independent media mogul – the hideously cackling Carlson (at least Kamala had a real, impossible to ignore, giggle – the only non-fake thing about her), are all dyed-in-the-wool exceptionalists. All still riding the ‘America First’ bandwagon. Listen to them. Listen broadly. And you will come to the same conclusion. Nothing has changed. They still all, separately and collectively, hate Russia. They also hate China of course. But none of them have the intellectual capacity to consider two ideas at once and see any connection between them. So, Russia and China are both separate problems in their minds.
There is nothing new here. Nothing at all. New names and faces, same old garbage. As will become evident over the next few weeks, or tomorrow (whatever day tomorrow turns out to be).
I will not cite instances, although there are many which back up this thought, except I will allow myself just one glaring one from this RT article, viz: ‘Trump to announce Ukraine peace terms soon’.
Ok, to be fair, it was not Trump who said this, but the Polish PM. Trump hasn’t said, to my knowledge, very much at all since the election. But everybody else has. And it is all useless conjecture. But I’m sure Trump and his team are discussing everything and will eventually have a negotiating position. Things he, and they, have said in the recent past confirm that for me.
Terms? Negotiations? That is not going to work. Threats even less. Only one man, as I have repeatedly said, knows how it will all go down, and it will be on his terms and his alone. That man is Vladimir Putin. Can you see Donald J Trump accepting that? He has his own views, and he will want the first, and final, word. It is not possible for him to have changed enough, if at all, for any other option to be on his mind. He’s going to get a shock. And all those now spouting their mouths off, out of sheer ignorance and their own warped expectations, are going to be gobsmacked also.
Nothing spoken of in the RT article (or outside it, elsewhere) will feature in the final outcome – whether that is complete capitulation by the west, including Ukraine and NATO, or total war, which cannot last for more than a week or two (when the west runs out of ammo, tanks, aircraft, ships and men) but could lead to nuclear Armageddon, if they are still not prepared to concede, or in the unlikely case where Russia considers its continued existence to be under any kind of threat.
Either way, nothing else matters. We are going to have a sane world order, where hegemony and its vile attributes of capitalism, external control, theft and thuggery became a thing of the past and where all nations can live in peace under terms of indivisible security, guaranteed sovereignty, and equality of opportunity to live and progress in accordance with their own cultural needs, or we will endure potential extinction of species (not just our own), with, at best, struggling communities of marginal viability in various remote parts of the world, living in pre-industrial (or even earlier) conditions.
