This is quite a long (45 minutes) video podcast from the channel of Lena Petrova – and long podcasts and myself generally do not mix well. But I managed to maintain interest in what information was being passed from a distinguished guest to the show. and managed to see what was being said as being of great importance to the BRICS project and that there is every reason to assume BRICS is developing along the right lines to benefit from that system.
Interestingly, I learned that much of the technical Blockchain architecture of mBridge was in fact written by Chinese experts. I believe something like that was said at one point but I don’t have time to listen again. You can check. Perhaps the most revealing fact was that it is not possible for the West to shut down the system. Even a withdrawal by the BIS (Bank of International Settlements) would have no effect. So any talk of not wanting to work with ‘sanctioned countries’ is entirely irrelevant. The system is self-sustaining and it would need all the participating national banks to withdraw from that system to effect such a shutdown. I understand the BIS is considering taking itself out of the picture soon, their necessary work having already been completed, and such a move would also have no effect to its continued operation.
So much I learned from this video and Lena’s guest obviously knows what he is talking about. I recommend this for your viewing.
Right at the end you will find a brief discussion on the absence of Brazil’s national leader from the recent Kazan summit.
