…except in the case of the UK, in effect, there’s only one party now (it’s the Knee-benders to Uncle Sam Party), and no (that’s capital ‘NO’) real leaders – so they’d be fighting against themselves (or, less likely, against the establishment – but wouldn’t that be nice to see?). Eventually, though far too late, they would realise both sides were holding up the same banners.

Ok, its a similar picture in the US but, superficially, there are two choices (not really – it’s only made to look that way to retain some flaky reason for conducting an election), but again, NO real leaders. The assumption being that US citizens – augmented by countless temporary drop-ins (who will either leave or be ejected once the penny drops) are also too dumb to recognise that is the case. So they will definitely be fighting each other over some false notion that it matters. Only whoever emerges as elected leader, the real result is, everybody loses – leaving the establishment free to get on with its seminal (or should that be ‘terminal’?) work of finalising the destruction of the nation. How sweet is that?
And then (this, just for my own amusement), when the dust of the CW series has settled, the battered survivors could be treated to ringside seats at the World Title contest – the battle of the evil ‘establishments’, which will decide who is the Premier ‘World’s Failed Hegemon of the Century’ series.
With the world’s two worst troublemakers and their duped citizenry, tearing out their own throats, the global majority will have a free ride to a brave new world of peace and prosperity.
