Do Not Underestimate the Importance of BRICS in Matters of Security and Trade Interdependence

It recently became known that BRICS is taking a pause in admitting new member states to its current group of ten nations. I wrote about that here a couple of days ago. But that has not stopped more countries applying to join the group. Azerbaijan has now made such an application.

I am sure it is going to be a very interesting time at the 2024 BRICS summit in October in Kazan.
