Both Japan and the US have unrighted wrongs still to karmically pay for (I never know whether to use a capital ‘K’ for that word. Depends on how much attention or natural reverence you pay to it I suppose) over events happening beyond or around 80 years ago. Nature has a long memory and exceedingly great patience. Perhaps she is preparing a, hopefully not minor, slap across the face for both nations.
Dangerous times we live in. We, humans, have yet to see nature in a real fury. Whole, and entire (double emphasis) major nations, or states, could disappear or be flushed clean by flood. Our world is not so stable as we like to think it is. And the Pacific is the greatest hotbed of such potential activity on the whole planet.
People generally don’t like to think about such things. But we do allow ourselves to imagine we may have some kind of exceptional power to change any of that by our own efforts? We must be nuts.

Of course, climate change goes on, steadily plodding its course, and mostly unaffected by such events or any similar, and whether they happen or not, somewhere along the way. Why would it care? It has far longer term goals to pursue. And I doubt it pays much, if any attention, to us. Perhaps it hasn’t yet even noticed we are here. And just where do you find your God in any of that?
