I have no hesitation in featuring a video on subjects which are not found among the common thought patterns of many modern humans. In fact they are subjects and ideas which are generally derided by authorities and experts in many fields, while at the same time being the daily work of a great many dedicated scientists around the world. How can that be? If these things are true, why are they not generally recognised as such? And why have I possibly not heard of them before?
By the ‘I’ in that last sentence I of course mean other people, perhaps even yourself. Because there is a good chance, based on averages, that statement is actually true in your case. Even though you may live in a modern, technological society. You see, there is much about our world that is deliberately and purposefully hidden from the general population. Even through the education systems, scientific writings, media offerings, and government policies, which is covered by the idea of generally generated ignorance aimed at keeping folk in the dark – like mushrooms. And ‘I’, the I who is me, knows about them from long time (many years) study of new, science-based ideas, which fit within my own world view, as they arise from time to time and eventually proven to be truth based – whether generally accepted or not. And I also write about these ideas here from time to time, and have done for many years now.
My purpose in sharing this here is to encourage readers (who perhaps do not need much encouragement since they are obviously already ‘readers’) to engage with stories beyond their own current boundaries and so to broaden their horizon of knowledge. It is easy to fool people who know little, but not so people who by their own effort have extended their personal education about how their world works. Of course an open mind to accept or consider ideas which are not fully explained or yet completely discovered, is also a necessity. It is only by this path of learning that a discriminating mind is developed. A mind which cannot be easily misled or fooled by false notions. By ‘discriminating’ I mean that not everything you read can be trusted. A discriminating mind will build a personal trust library or body of thought, against which it can compare new ideas and know when to accept or discard them by learning the tricks and ploys used by deceivers.
So, here is a very interesting delve into Earth and human history covering many topics which are relevant today. The presentation is by Graham Hancock, whose statements are often mocked and downplayed by so-called ‘experts’ who have an agenda to obscure the truth, as I have already suggested. But Mr Hancock never proffers his own thoughts but those of many established scientists and researchers. And if he does introduce an idea of his own, not yet proven, he clearly states that is the case and that it should not yet be considered as factual. I hold great respect for this man.
Oh, by the way, what is this lost civilisation I mentioned (and to which he also alludes)?
Why, it is ours of course. History does sometimes, or perhaps more than sometimes, ‘repeat’.
