If Elon Musk can, in one day, reach mutually respectful business understandings with China at the Premier level, how come Western political leaders find it so difficult to reach similar agreements in other spheres?

It’s simple really. Musk is not fettered by attitudinal strictures and ingrained disrespect for others.

I could add to that simple statement of course, but it wouldn’t make it any clearer. So that’s all I have to say. The fact that this is all about EVs, to which I attach little importance, is really immaterial to the outcome. Read the report.
