Iran’s Successful Retaliation Against Israel

I suppose I should say something about what happened on the night of 13/14 April 2024 over Israel. It is not of great interest to me, being a simple slap on the face of the offender by the offended in a long established regional squabble which could never exert the sort of repercussions so many observers are anticipating.

So, it occurred, and it played out exactly as planned by Iran. Giving a super exciting overhead display of the destruction of cheap aerial drones which played out their part with tremendous success by being shot down by expensive air defense missiles of various western forces, while permitting the reduction of many Israeli air defense systems and both equitable and satisfactory damage to a couple of desert air bases from Iran’s own main missile weapons untroubled by any defense capability of their tormentors. If there is to be a continuation of these actions, Israel will have less metal and explosives to throw at Iran than it possessed before this brief response to Israel’s criminal action which began the exchange while Iran’s capabilities remain untouched. That is what I call a victory.

But don’t take my word for it. Here is a piece from Scott Ritter, an expert in these things…

‘The Missiles of April’ – a Scott Ritter Extra – April 14, 2024

Incidentally, and relating to what I said in a recent post, while perusing Scott Ritter’s ‘Extras’ I found this on ‘The October 7 Hamas Assault on Israel’. It clarifies why I said what I did.
