This is an example of the sheer madness of sections of humanity in unnecessary attempts to fight climate, which poses the greatest danger to the world.
Carbon Dioxide poses no danger of any kind to the world, or to humanity. But the sheer idiocy of such human actions as, for example, pumping chemicals (even salt crystals) into the upper or lower atmosphere does pose risks of danger to all life, above, on the ground or below it.
If this is what ‘science’ has morphed into, then we need to ditch ‘science’ tout suite before it kills us all.
But, of course, such hare-brained notions as cloud seeding actually pose little danger to the wider world, merely acting locally. And the world of man would find such schemes financially prohibitive to organise on the global scale. Nevertheless, all such activity needs to be stopped, and prohibited.
On the other hand, if we want to help climate change to recover an ideal world, we could assist nature, not too much, but just enough to maximally double the average amount of atmospheric CO2 from current levels. That would be delightful, and it would ensure fewer arid parts of the world and enable the growth of sufficient food-stocks to meet the needs of every living human. Not to mention the restoration of our depleted animal, bird and fish numbers. That is going to happen anyway of course. Nature is in charge, not us, and has noticed the dire state of our atmospheric CO2 component – which is already rising toward correct levels. The correct balance is being restored. We could help matters along by ceasing attempts to reduce CO2.
Why do they need to seed clouds anyway? Because of the growing amount of arid or desert land across the world.
OK, but why is that occurring? Because there are not enough trees and we are losing vegetation cover everywhere.
OK, but again, why is that occurring? Because there is not enough CO2 in the atmosphere. It needs to be at least double current level (which is the lowest in Earth’s history).
…And, prithee, why is that? Well, those are all big questions. All I will say here is that there has been an ongoing cooling of the Earth – and falling CO2 levels – for at least the past 200,000,000 (two hundred million) years – and in fact overall for much longer than that. The key being the falling levels of CO2, particularly in the last 65 million years – with increasingly rapid falls in the last 15 million years or so. And across all that time there has been no correlation between rise and fall of temperatures and the level of CO2.
You don’t believe me of course. That’s because you have succumbed to the general dumbing down of humanity – particularly western humanity, which has been activated over recent decades to get you to be compliant, obedient, and easily manipulated. Get the facts – they are out there, and freely available in real science literature (not the guff of recent decades). Although many actual scientists, not their administrators or hierarchy, will tell you the truth if you seek it. There are some useful articles over the past 6-7 months here in this blog. If you think I have made all this up, prepare to be amazed, and your eyes opened.
Is there cause for alarm? No, not a bit. Nature is in charge, not us.
