I have written a couple of pieces now on the subject of a perceived need (my own view of the necessity) for a nuclear war of some sort, which would end in the destruction of the United States – and perhaps a few of the nations comprising its inner circle. That would be a very destructive and dangerous path to take (which is probably the only reason it has not already happened). But it would close an era and an age which has been marked by conventional war, terrorism (pretty much all emanating from the evil efforts of those same group of nations), the subjugation and impoverishment of many other nations, and the unjust imposition of a truly false dominant political system, based entirely on lies and deception, known as ‘western democracy’, also for the suppression and control over many nations.
But there is also another way. There usually is. Though whether it would be as effective or not, as eradication of offenders would be, is quite another matter. I speak, in part, of the Chinese way, as currently epitomised in the ‘Global Security Initiative’, or GSI, being discussed now for the protection of Eurasian nations from the kind of terrorism the west has virtually patented. This initiative (the GSI), is already appearing to be positively received, as shown in the quote below, at the Boao forum.
“The initiative is dedicated to respecting and safeguarding the security of every country, rather than seeking dominance in international security affairs, let alone taking sides.”

That is one part of the other side of the coin, but is it enough? I would say, no. But it is an exciting and thoughtful venture, if, and it is a big ‘IF’, the whole world joins in with the effort. I have no doubt that the world is ready for such a path to some level of assurance, but there would need to be a whole lot of change, in attitude and moral acceptance, among the western nations, who can not any longer think of themselves as being exceptional or better in any way than the rest of humanity.
There is yet another part to this ethos, as epitomised by the Ukraine conflict in Europe, and it necessitates a proper conclusion, no matter how much it hurts the western nations, to the current way of thinking in the west.
It is clear, it always was actually, that Russia will enjoy (I use that word because it fits the phrase, although It doesn’t really fit the circumstance) a complete victory in that conflict, achieving all of its intended goals. Which means firstly that Ukraine will be de-militarised. That means the resultant Ukraine state – if it still exists as a state, and parts will not be swallowed up by neighbouring states (to whom some parts of the country belonged in the past) – will possess no military, and especially no NATO military (if NATO even still exists, which is unlikely). I suggest it does not mean there will be no Russian military presence on the territory. Someone has to ensure adherence to those principles. Secondly, it means that all forms of nazism will have been eradicated and not allowed to reappear. That aspect is already clear enough I think.
No-one has so far expressed in detail just how this will work – and the plain Russian statements on these matters do require some fleshing out in order to create a proper and understandable image of how the stated intentions will be structured and upheld. Except that today, Scott Ritter gave his views to Danny Haiphong in a brilliantly conducted interview. Scott is becoming my goto person, and especially on that show, for truly sensible, well thought out views and opinion on such matters. And his delivery is such as enhances the sincerity of his words. What I’m trying to say is, I like what he says and how he says it. He says a lot in a short time on this video, and there is no waffle. I get the feeling even Danny was as impressed as I was.
So, with these two nations, Russia and China, leading, fostering, strengthening other nations in partnership groups around the world, the dark picture of possible nuclear destruction, now looming large, may yet be avoided.
How much destruction or self-destruction the west may suffer, is entirely up to them. The world, if need be, can carry on without them, in spite of them, or, under appropriate conditions of equality, friendship and independence, with them. But never, under them.
