The United States, its adjuncts and concubines, collectively known as the ‘combined west’, being rogue states all and repeatedly operating beyond the recognised boundaries of International Law, are not fit entities to hold any part in the global oversight or guidance of the affairs of the Middle East or the more properly addressed countries of the ‘West Asian’ region – or anywhere else for that matter. The fact that the combined west has for more than a century been allowed to freely operate, with impunity in such a role speaks volumes as to the reasons that region now exists in a reign of chaos. In fact a better descriptor for the ‘combined west’ would be the already declared: ‘Empire of Chaos’ – since that is the state of natural development which arises, as some oppressive shadow, from wherever the western nations ply their gruesome trade.
The world would be far better off without the Empire of Chaos if somehow they (and I am unfortunately one of them) would be made to disappear. They would not even be missed, except the world would appear to be a little brighter and smell a little sweeter. However, that is not going to happen, other than by their own hand – the other seven eighths of the global population being somewhat more ‘human’ in outlook and morality than they. Although there are those among them who still cling to what is a recognisable ‘humanity’, inseparably envisioned as an integral part of belonging to the family of man, and not as bearing any synonymity with ‘Christianity’ or indeed through membership of any other ‘divinely’ gifted to be a superior, ‘chosen’, supreme race or ideology. So there can never be a morally just ‘one size fits all’ penalty raised against the charge of ‘being a westerner’. As one such interested party caught up in this dilemma, I rest my hope in that.
So, what must happen then, in order to bring sweetness and light to smooth the troubled waters of a for far too long oppressed world?
The answer is fairly obvious. If the world cannot morally rid itself of the cause of the all too visible chaos which persists, chiefly manifested and centred on the seat of human civilisation in West Asia, then the world must at least subdue and control those causes. Eliminating where necessary and disempowering those causes, to allow peace and harmony to prevail. It sounds so very simple, doesn’t it? Then why does chaos persist?
Since this has been a perennial problem for humanity, reaching back into ancient times from the dawn of civilisation, in the past, human families, tribes, ethnic groups, and nations relied on the principle of ‘there’s always a bigger fish’ as a means of extraction from their predicament. Meaning they had to wait for or become themselves that ‘bigger fish’ which could overthrow whatever was the regional dominant power. The alternative was to be absorbed within its culture, allowing it to only grow further. That principle does not apply so much today, with a world deemed to be ‘full’. There is no means of further expansion or accumulation of power, other than possessing the most advanced technology and the strongest and most stable economy, together with a real (not feigned) drive for peaceful and cooperative endeavour encompassing the whole of humanity and applied only to that noble endeavour. Neither rampant Capitalism, hosted by and for the benefit of preserving the extremely wealthy few, nor heartless militarism, for the preservation of unjust inequalities gained by earlier ruthless domination, can ever meet those requirements of a just world. But, as we carefully navigate this ‘inflection point’ of human history, there are those powerful nations who even now are planning and working to achieve the right and desirable outcomes. They are all the nations most despised and wrongfully denigrated by the west. And it is around that core of nations that the majority of the world’s peoples are now gathering in friendship and collaboration, resulting in the eventual isolation of those who cling to the false notion of their own natural or divine supremacy.
There is much more to say but in the interests of brevity I will leave that for another time as we all watch on. None of us, other than the purposefully ignorant, can play the part of spectator in this, our hour of the determination of our future.
