‘Ukraine to either surrender on Moscow’s terms or cease to exist – top Russian lawmaker’ – TASS – Sep 28, 2023
Which gives me complete satisfaction that this is a factual assessment. No other solution is possible.
And since all top Russian government officials (including the President) also seem to view this as the only solution which will guarantee their own continued sovereign existence, Russia now wielding the power to make this happen, and the Russian people being wholly behind their government on this (national patriotism possibly being at its highest point ever), this is exactly what will happen.
This means there will be no Ukraine peace talks. Complete capitulation requires no peace talks – just instructions to the capitulating party as to how it will proceed. Anyone thinking or talking about peace talks is out of their tiny mind.
So, if Ukraine as a nation chooses to take this to its logical conclusion instead of agreement to complete capitulation – and that is a choice they do have – that foolish nation will cease to exist.
Likewise, if any nation chooses to support Ukraine in taking this matter to its logical conclusion by intervening militarily instead of standing aside from the matter – and that is a choice every interested nation does have – that/those foolish nations and/or their foolish government and affiliated military associations, may also cease to exist.
The situation could not be clearer. If Ukrainian people do not want to live in a dustbowl (not necessarily a radioactive dustbowl) completely ruined for permanent settlement, industry or commerce (who would care enough to rebuild and re-equip it?) they must act to ensure the right decision is made. It may not be clear to the Ukrainian people just exactly what this means at this point, and their leaders in any case are not going to cooperate – they know what the end result will be for them. But all will very soon be made to become absolutely clear. This will not be a long war as many people seem to think. Nor will it become a stalemate – as some would wish. The conditions are ripe for imminent general collapse of the west. Then, without ongoing support, Ukraine will have no other realistic choice other than to die or to surrender unreservedly. And if this collapse does not soon eventuate, then Russia must bite the bullet and take matters into its own hands to complete (and to avoid a slow death for everyone).
