‘Clinging To The World Of The Past’

The world is changing. You can sense it. I can sense it. Everyone can sense it. It is now an unstoppable rearrangement of the global future.

A new world order is forming. The old one, the current one, the one we all have known for the whole of our lives, the one we came to be comfortable with (the level of comfort varying depending of where you live and how wealthy or poor your circumstances permitted) but the one that has been gradually eroding our standards of life and our personal freedoms of speech and actions (especially over the recent decades – you must have noticed that), must recede into the past. Whether that will constitute a full global re-ordering or only a partial one is not yet established. But it is clear that a global majority is seeking the change and only a small minority of die-hard nations (less than one eighth of the global population) is trying to resist and to cling to the world of the past.

I must attempt to make it clear that this new world order is not the menacing ‘New World Order’ dreamed up by the World Economic Forum and the global corporate and international entities it represents, which if such a concept did come to fruition – it won’t but the idea may take a while to die out – would amplify and strengthen only the mega-wealthy (corporate and private – new money, old money). That is those who have held the reins of power, controlling governments as puppets and directing global strategies to accumulate greater wealth for themselves and their organised structures/members alone for several or at least more than one century. And a world order which would naturally feature total control of every aspect of human life – all human life or whatever portion of that which would be permitted to remain in existence. You would be unlikely to be a part of that, except perhaps as one of those unfortunates that survived the WEF population reduction plan. One of those who, to use one of the WEF mantras – ‘will own nothing, but you will be happy’. In what state of bliss you would be held, and by what means that would be maintained or for how long, is not defined.

The WEF version of Utopia, is a twisted and totally evil concept which stands zero chance of being realised, thank goodness. The forces of tolerance and cooperative endeavour, embodied in the BRICS concept will ensure that never happens. And it is the growing and expanding BRICS concept to which the world, the seven eighths of the human population whose leaders envision something better than the WEF offers for their peoples, is increasingly looking as the right way forward for humanity. Western gremlins may opt to fester in their own version of Hades, somewhere in dead or dying lands, but the majority world, the seven out of eight people worldwide who will never surrender to that slime-pit will live peaceably and comfortably in a world of sovereign equals.

Never fear. We can rest in the assurance that the new world order currently being formed is not the dark one of western domination. Although those who are currently devoted to seeing such a diabolical state of affairs enforced on the world are unlikely to give up their gross plans easily. They will need to be excluded from the formative new world order. Fortunately, that better way is being developed right now. A number of organisations are working on that project but the one that is shaping up to lead the way is BRICS. There may also be a need for the merging and perhaps renaming of some of these efforts at some point in order to avoid duplication of effort.

Many global entities, corporate, governmental (and non-governmental) agencies, judicial, political, military/pseudo-military, private, charitable and humanitarian, may need to be replaced or closed as being unfit to continue into the changed future. New, replacement organisations being set up to ensure that international law, as embodied in the United Nations Charter, but the spirit of which has been rarely followed in the period of western dominated of world affairs, as a result of the weakness and corruption at the highest levels, perhaps at all levels, of the current UN. This change must be done right and the only way to ensure that happens is for all sovereign nations – national sovereignty being one of the founding principles of the BRICS group – with equal participation among its members, no longer dominated or influenced by a single power or group of nations which see themselves as the natural and manifest leaders of the world.

As it happens, I read last night three short news items in the online TASS site which exemplify what is happening right now and illustrate the contrast between the opposing paths being offered.

First, there must be total unity of purpose and no strife between member nations of the new BRICS community – or by whatever name it becomes known in the future (the ‘BRICS’ nomenclature has served its purpose but surely cannot stand as representative of the expanded group of nations for long). A particular bone of contention between the two largest nations, India and China has been their joint border dispute. I see in this TASS article a new willingness and hope for peaceful resolution to that issue.

Contrast that with the attitude of the US, the leader of the ‘world of the past’ crew, which only seeks to divide and to pin down and disrupt the efforts for change. It is from this article that I drew the title of this piece. My purpose in writing it has been to depict how I see this will eventually turn out and to contrast the various positions from which the future will be formed. This is obviously just one person’s view – and I acknowledge that yours may differ significantly from mine. The only thing that matters is what eventuates. Because that is what we, or you, will have to live with.

Finally, it is the determination of the coming together of the nations for change to ensure there are no weak links or disruptive components included in the new endeavour by excluding all western nations from becoming part of the move. In fact, if you read the report below, it will be clear that any nation which has imposed illegal economic sanctions on any member nation of BRICS will be automatically excluded from membership. This is a necessary and vital ingredient for success. It does not preclude or deny that at some point in the future, as a result of proving that better decision choices can be made and acted on, individually excluded nations may be granted future membership to the global structure. We are after all just residents of the same globe. But causing economic or material harm to any other global nation, other than in self-defence (clearly defined as protection of own lands, property and people), cannot be done without appropriate consequences. However, the new global structure must not become a militaristic one. What future is there for other than a token military when there are no enemies to be fought, apart from the communally shared policing of excluded dissident nations (if any remain) to ensure they are not a source of future distress to the majority. A future of threatened isolation outside of the global grouping, if such is deemed part of the mutually agreed consequences, is destined to be not very bright. It is the old question of ‘trust’ and ‘reputation’. Both easily lost but regained only with extreme difficulty. I suggest that all, apart from the incorrigible die-hards, will all eventually either die out or seek a program to rejoin the global majority.

The choice, to me, is very clear. The way ahead appears to be proceeding in the right direction.

Patience, colleagues, patience. It is coming.
