I have to admit that I do not know what to make of the current Donbass situation. It does not look to me like any general military advance is being made. Just more of what has happened for the past 8 years. Perhaps a little more intensely yesterday than previously.
A lot of stories appear on Plain News… https://plainnews.ru/lnr
Overnight a military vehicle belonging to a senior leader of the Donetsk military was blown up outside the government headquarters… ??? ‘Explosion hits capital of breakaway Ukrainian region (VIDEOS)’ – RT
These are just some of the stories of the day. It still doesn’t look like a military invasion of Donbass by the Ukraine military, although that could change at any time. I’m sure they know what would await them if they do. Andrei Martyanov issued a post today saying not to get too excited about what is happening there just yet…

It is going to be a long day for a lot of people, including the newly displaced. And perhaps an entirely new life. We should think of them. Russia is doing the best it can to aid and assimilate them …which raises the question – what then happens to the Donbass region? Abandonment, while it would solve the ‘invasion’ problem, does not seem to be the right answer for the situation.
