Not surprising really. If you can get a bunch of mugs to believe that you want to be their friend and help them get out from under those big bad Russians when a good proportion of their nation are ethnic Russians, then you can probably sell them anything.

And they won’t even notice that you drop them as buddies like a sack of old potatoes when you realise it was a mistake to back them at all.

And it won’t even bother you in any way that you are operating with all the ethics and morals of a USed car salesman. Why would it?
