Anyone over 40 – OK, let’s say 41 (because one of my examples is 41) – unless they have a proven and accepted talent record (not based on fame, repute, connections, position, or monetary worth), should be banned from any and all public offices, in all professions; politics and military included.
That should quickly clear the swamp and cut its fatally cloying establishment bonds and the abysmal dampening effects of academia in every nation on Earth. Clearing the way for the truly talented youthful end of the current life-skill pool to set the world on the path to success and prosperity for all, and diverting us from the downhill plunge to the stagnant lake of putrescence we are currently headed towards at breakneck speed. At the expense of our whole future for the sake of increasingly enriching a few old men who are holding our generation to ransom for exactly that purpose.
At entirely different levels, both valid, I cite two examples of the strong will and courage of two individuals currently in the news cycle.
First, Liang Wenfeng. Do you know the name? Probably not. But he has placed China in a dominating position in the drive (it is not a race) to set the tone of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the modern world. And he has succeded in doing so tens of times more cheaply than any other country (especially the US) has done. The success of his DeepSeek product over Chatgpt as the most used free AI offering as at Jan 2025 in the US, the product being based on Huawei chips rather than the ultra expensive Nvidia chips, proves that openly.
For more detail, see his story on Wikipedia here: Liang Wenfeng and more in this current Comments from China: DaiWWstory on Sovereignista. I haven’t time to unpack that any further.
And then on a grass-roots level (for now), a local Australian story of migrant schoolboy success to become the mayor (with further ambitions) of a Melbourne local council at age 27, the story of Momahed Semra who came to Australia at age 3, from Sudan, with his mother and 5 siblings, following the government arrest of his father. A remarkable story to overcome prejudice and racial opposition in order to achieve his early ambition.
History-making mayor of Maribyrnong, Mohamed Semra, is only getting started – ABC News – May 31, 2026
I have no doubt there are many hundreds of similar stories which could be included here. Stories of courage and tenacity in the face of adversity. These are the stories of our future. They must not be held back or hidden. Or we may not have a future.
