There is a new voice for West Asia, and it appears to be a very sensible voice, producing such informative articles as the one I feature below.
Operating only from a couple of months ago, August 2021, I gave it an early welcome by sharing an article from Pepe Escobar featured there. A very good start. I have since made The Cradle site one of my regular gotos for West Asia news and can confirm my earlier view that this is a valuable source for such news. The driving force behind The Cradle appears to be Sharmine Narwadi, well credentialed for the task and long known for her journalistic work about this troubled region. I can think of no better placed source for that task, and the willingness for Escobar to associate himself or at least his work with it bodes well for its authority and success. Welcome, The Cradle.
Take this recent article by Abdelrahman Nassar – October 29, 2021 as another example: “Hamas and the PIJ: divided in style, united in struggle” – The Cradle
Reblogged this on muunyayo .
It was recently I also discovered The Cradle.
It is refreshing to read about political, economic and societal affairs taking place in the regions of Iran, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria, amongst others – without any injection of mention of the actions of the Neo-Liberal West as being the virtuous actors in the region.
Yes, it is, and thank you for the comment.
