That’s a quote from MEP Christine Anderson, Member of the European Parliament, speaking at a recent panel opposing vaccine mandates and green card passports.
I want this lady fighting for me, not the dumb sumbitches (pardon my street-talk) who get regularly selected as representatives of my people. Torpedoes being dropped seems to be a thing in the last few days and she certainly drops a torpedo in what I just quoted her saying and also in what she says next…
“Never take anything any government tells you at face value. Always question everything any government does or does not do. Always look for ulterior motives and always ask ‘cui bono’ – who benefits?”
She talks about not being willing to be (COVID) vaccinated, and then goes on to say, in response to governments promising ‘freedom’ to the vaccinated…
“Let’s be clear about one thing. No-one grants me freedom, for I am a free person.”
Then, disappointingly and obviously revealing herself as not being properly informed on the subject, she goes on to mention also not being willing to live under the likes of the Chinese social credit system – an extension of the current and long running financial credit system in that country to provide rural folk – now lifted out of poverty and wanting the benefits of increased affluence – who lack the necessary documentation with proof of their status so they can get on with their new more abundant lives, and also to update for new technology the existing system – I suppose, and that all seems quite reasonable, logical and beneficial, to me.
Is the lady not aware that all Western nations have also for many decades been subject to a social credit system? What does she think Credit Rating Agencies are for? Has she never been subject to a credit check, a police check, or been identified by face recognition software? Not to mention being filmed almost everywhere she goes by CCTV, tracked by Google, Facebook or similar snooping entities? My goodness! Where has she been in recent times?
I will tell you what, I would rather be living under the Chinese social credit system than anything run by dubiously motivated Western agencies, any day of the week, month, or year. To criticise the Chinese is typical Western hypocrisy. It is thoughtless, crude, and just plain wrong. It cannot be forgiven. Well, maybe it can be forgiven but definitely not forgotten.
It tarnishes what she said before that but does not diminish its stand-alone potency or relevance. If only folk could understand these things. Why do I always feel that I am sitting out on a limb for recognising them myself? Is that ever going to change? Or will the world of man extinguish itself, in a quiet and subdued way, never knowing what happened to bring that about?
I am starting this YouTube of the mentioned panel presentation at 3:34 which is the point of the first quote. About 2 minutes of viewing is all you will need. It goes for 29 minutes and I understand all MEP panelists get a turn to speak. I haven’t yet watched the rest of it. I’m afraid all this stuff, in fact anything to do with COVID, is all becoming a bit blasé to me (or should that be I’m becoming a bit blasé to it?) and I do my best to ignore it …until something like this catches my eye.
