As another nail is driven into the US coffin (it must be near time to inter the thing now, it is beginning to reek), the President of Mexico calls for no foreign intervention in Cuba, thanks Cuban doctors for their support in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and “stressed that his administration is ready to offer humanitarian support to Cuba to alleviate food and medicines shortages”.

To retain any small vestige of honour they may still have, the US should end the cruel Cuban blockade now.
The United States long ago left the stage of moral leadership in the world and, as its influence sinks further in global opinion, should be finding ways that it can rehabilitate itself as a worthy neighbour and an equal partner in the struggle to retain a semblance of human civilisation on the planet.
Yes, I realise that is not possible. I said it is what they should be doing, not what they are likely to do or what the US leadership is in fact capable of doing.
