Australia appears confused about its place in the global world order – ABC News – Sep 5, 2026*
*This article does not necessarily express views with which I can concur. It is just a western view of my subject today, which outlines the situation reasonably well.
‘Subimperial’ Australia**, ‘Sublimated’ by choice to the ‘Sleaziest’ two nations on the planet. The US and UK.
**See linked Global Times report below.
Message to all Australians – Your Federal Government, whoever that is, is the Real Enemy of the People. You are governed mostly by the Western Deep State as implemented by the CIA/MI6. Is that a situation with which you are satisfied? I hope not. Because it is a situation where those who steer your course are already in a state of collapse themselves. You need to get out of that pickle jar.
AUKUS public inquiry challenges subservience to US – Warwick Powell – Global Times – June 4, 2026
The AUKUS crowd funded public enquiry finished today Sep 5 and will report early in November. Meanwhile, here is a submission to the enquiry from Adjunct Professor Warwick Powell, of AUT.
When did Australia lose its renowned backbone? I think I have answered that question a number of times in previous posts. It began back in the seventies when our government was subsumed as a CIA instructed vassal of the US. We have to get out from under that weight, and soon, or we will end up as a third world nation just like all other western nations already in obvious decline. I would not argue if someone were to propose a different date. I guess you had to have been around at the time, which I was but held little interest in Australian politics until roughly the 70s/80s boundary. But already, long before then, the country – beginning life as a penal colony for the earlier empire of ther British – had developed the roots of subservience to that equally despotic regime, as that which now prevails. For only a little time longer. Now is the time, if there is going to be one, for Australia to ‘gird its loins’ and make the leap to true sovereignty. As many of its Pacific neighbours are beginning to do. This is probably a case of now or never.
Australia has no need to accept the only rhetorically offered and vanishingly stable protection of a grossly unstable nuclear super-power. Even Canada – our equally vassalated sibling state is beginning to show signs of the dawning of such realisation.
