Is The West Too Dumb to Learn that Taiwan is Chinese Territory, and Since China is Not an Island, Taipei Has No Business Attending the Pacific Island Forum?

The same logic also applies to Australia (generally recognised as a continent) and also to the US, in the far, far away. At least, if it does not apply to those two nations then China should Also be Invited, as a Pacific Partner. Is any part of that not clear?

The Solomon Islands (hosting the PIF this year) is standing as a front line rational proponent of this point. Bravo Solomons! I hope they stick to their guns on it too. Which they probably will, with the might of China standing beside them. The US, while it blares warnings of war against China, is actually very afraid of taking such a foolish step. They would in all likelihood lose that one too (why break a long held record of losses?). In fact not ‘Why?’ but ‘How?’. Considering all parameters, they do not stand a chance of winning, and they cannot use nuclear weapons – Both Russia and China would level the US instantly.

Best to stay out of the way Mr Trump. This is bigger than you.

As for the Australian government, well they are a bit unpredictable, being dumber than a half-baked dumpling.
