Since Russia has at long last clearly and firmly staked its claim to be a major component of the emerging New World, not afraid of combating the tyranny and gross inhumanity of the crumbling empire of the western nations, the self-styled ‘Essential Nation’ – the US – not only part of what can now be seen as the ‘Non-essential Western World’ which is already turning its tyrannical impulses inwardly to consume itself into irrelevance, but also forms part of that passing world which is also physically isolated from the ‘Eurasian centre of Peaceful Cooperation’, even now in formation. For the European (excluding the UK) part of that passing world, fortunate enough to be physically part of the Eurasian super-continent, providing additional opportunities for those nations to perhaps at some stage be incorporated into that New World. Great internal change will need to occur first. For the English speaking part of the west and for Israel (if it manages to still exist), there are vastly more difficulties in any future path for acceptance within (or trade with) the world of mankind which will no longer be submissive to any form of dominance and tyranny.
I have been wanting to talk about this for some time and also incorporating the place of the Russian adventure in Ukraine within that wider field, but Pepe Escobar has (thankfully, since I’m not sure I have the stamina to complete such a project) beaten me to it with the amazing piece he has just produced – and I bow to his superior inside knowledge on the subject. Please make sure you read this if you want to be abreast of events occurring now and in the coming weeks, months and years. As time passes this will all become clearer and you will not be shocked as you certainly would be without this image in mind.
“Cutting Through the Fog Masking ‘a New Page in the Art of War’” – Pepe Escobar on Strategic Culture Foundation
I was going to comment on that piece with some extracted quotes – and there are many outstanding statements to choose from – but I will leave it there. All the more reason for you to read it for yourself. That article includes several recent linked Saker references which even by themselves represent outstanding thoughts. It is a feast of powerful facts to negate any false and hastily formed western narratives.
I will just close by saying that I have, for now, ceased to comment daily on the Ukraine conflict. It is bogged down in a successful mopping up phase for the Russians, with large parts of the Ukraine forces either surrounded, destroyed or captured, but I will return to it as soon as the next phase begins, and that should be most interesting. This has turned out to be a very different conflict than the world anticipated. The west is obviously thrown into disarray and has no idea how it should react – though its options are few and the main one being a fruitless continuance with lying propaganda, which will increasingly cease to be effective as more facts are revealed. New offshoots have emerged, like ‘bio-labs’ and ‘civilian mistreatment’, which while important to pursue are not particularly noteworthy (especially since they were previously known but unproven). The End-Game is what I am waiting to see, and the complete humiliation of the west in the eyes of the whole world.
IF for nothing else — though definitely nothing at all civil, compassionate or humane — what war may actually be good for, besides the obvious proficiency to cause great devastation and an enormity of gratuitous suffering, is to act as an egregious game from which comes the most polarized appreciation and praise for ‘our side’ in the various bloody conflicts, indeed for those of the sordid moral sort raging for the bloody vengeance they left behind in the Mother Land.
.. And, of course, those of the by-far greatest number who are missing or fleeing en masse their homeland for refuge.
It’s good for those who desire to watch video footage consisting of those ‘boys back home’ who’ll fight with firearm and fist until nothing remains but numerous bodies lying torn; and there’s but one purpose left for those bodily remains, for those living at a safe distance (perhaps already abroad in their new home country with their TV set before them) yet still irresistibly interested for but the ugliest motivations of personal partisanships, which is essentially to watch, listen or read the news all about the atrocities committed hopefully by ‘our side’ — no morally less than keeping the latest sordidly wretched score of the war …
Upon the daily, hourly or half hourly updates — even while the combatant parties linger in light sleep as the usual exchanges of rampant volleys of gunfire briefly subside during late night and early morning darkness — those who are truly concerned about those deathly scenes consume and regurgitate whatever morsels of news however repetitious.
The various first, second, third, etcetera, generation immigrants comfortably safe in the Western world watch their television news intently without uttering a word, as though with great appetite consuming their TV dinner’s course of meat … Until the news clip of interest to them cuts for commercial break or to offer other viewers news-story coverage of a mangled bus filled with lifeless broken children, or perhaps coverage of another un-civil conflict violently flaring elsewhere upon Spaceship Earth — all of which are of no score-interest to so many other unmentioned viewers who’ll turn the channel quickly for total lack of ethnic allegiance or racial relevance.
Until upon completion of their news-slots of interest, however bloody, when the couch comfortable score-keepers find it opportune to then discuss (if not rant on about) the warring sides and which one is considered by the viewers to be precisely what good or bad nature — to be deemed the very worst of the bad-guy lot by the news-media and therefore likely the general developed world; all before placing foremost in their minds for that day the current score with its indeterminate give-or-take-a-few-hundred (or thousands to date in the entire run-on inhuman conflict, for those interested but just tuning in) slaughtered or just instantly killed (blissfully, if very lucky). And they watch the war while keeping the sordid score.
Hmm… I have approved your comment, even though my first instinct was not to do so, because I can’t make head or tail of what it is you are trying to say. So there is nothing for me to say ‘yea’ or ‘nay’ about, but you did put some effort into it, so that gains a few points. The best I can make of what you say is that you are anti emigre television viewers for some reason, oh, and war in general. Which is fair enough, but nothing to do with the subject of my post.
This is not some random conflict – even though the world’s news writers, knowing nothing else, try to make it appear so. This is something that was imperative for the safety of all humanity. It is the most humanitarian conflict this world has ever seen. It is taking place for YOU and ME alike – not for some shit-hole in the middle of Europe that is of no value whatsoever. Nor for any ideology or grand prize, but for the good of all mankind – even Americans (whose US ruling class are the chief instigators of the conflict). You may say it is also to ensure the continued existence of mankind – at least for a little longer – and for some much misused concept, generally known as ‘freedom’.
And it is the first essential step, necessary to set the stage for the introduction of a new world order in which both Russia and China will lead the nations, by example, in a period of peaceful cooperation and mutual benefit – with no thought of domination or coercion. But that cannot go ahead while the world is being torn apart by decadent and aggressive western dreams of empire. The era of domination by western nations is over, as of now. OK, they can fight among themselves and tear themselves apart if they like – and they probably will – but they can never again (no longer having the power to do so) seek to impose their will on the wider world. That time has gone.
Thank you. I’m definitely not against emigrants, immigrants, refugees or migrant workers.
My post is prosaically meant to be anti-war, ironic and a bit sarcastic. Its core meaning is best described by the lines within:
“The various first, second, third, etcetera, generation immigrants comfortably safe in the Western world watch their television news intently without uttering a word, as though with great appetite consuming their TV dinner’s course of meat … And they watch the war while keeping the sordid score.”
This also somewhat describes me (my own parents having been immigrants), eating my couch meals while searching TV channels for non-appetite-spoiling entertainment, including the news.
Good. I’m glad you responded. I thought I might have come over a bit strong, so I’m happy you appear to have not taken it that way.
You are obviously an educated person and, unless you are using your phone, I assume you have some sort of computing device. My advice, not that you asked for it, would be to search fewer TV channels (those are for folk who can’t or don’t want to think for themselves). There is a whole world of interesting stuff on the internet – while we still have it – to satisfy any subject of interest, when browsed with care and protection. I won’t say any more, since I’m sure you already know that. Good luck!
